Glis Glis

Hi. Has anybody in Shiplake had a glis glis in their loft, I am wondering if they have reached Shiplake yet. I have pest control coming out for squirrel(s) in my loft but it may turn out to be glis glis, the fat edible dormouse (very destructive protected species of rodent) accidentally introduced at Tring in 1902 and spreading rapidly throughout the Chilterns causing lots of damage in homes, as well as being a serious fire hazard due to it's love of chewing wires!

In response to a direct reply without an email address supplied to reply to, pest control said glis glis have not yet reached Lower Shiplake. They found long tailed field mice in my loft but no evidence of squirrels but surely I must have larger stronger visitors as some sadly clatter off with traps attached and cannot be found. They are returning in 2 weeks, rats are not entirely ruled out due to my proximity to the brook/river and large gridded vents leading into wall cavities in my property
