All levels. All ages (over 11 yrs).

The second run will take place on Sunday Sept 24, starting and finishing in New Road, Lower Shipake, close to the junction with Crowsley Road. 

  • A cross country style 5k run over a variety of surfaces on paths, tracks, fields and roads, and with gates, bridges and steps, entirely within Lower Shiplake.
  • Run starts at approx 11am. Registration is from 10.30am. All runners must register.
  • Intended for both serious and fun runners.
  • Runners will be timed, but times will be published only against runner numbers, not names.
  • Open to runners of all levels and all ages (over 11 years)
  • Free entry. (This is a Shiplake Community event. No charge, but donations welcome on day to help offset cost).
  • Trophies will be awarded to the first male and first female finishers.
  • Some car parking available close to the start/finish.
  • Free coffee for runners, supporters and spectators.
  • Live music.

Part of the route is on private land which will not be open before the run.

The length of the route is 5k.

There will be direction indication and marshals around the route.
