Macmillan Coffee Morning

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. We ask people all over the UK to host their own Coffee Mornings and donations on the day are made to Macmillan. Last year alone we raised £29.5 million and this year we are aiming to raise even more.

Macmillan Coffee Morning - THANK YOU !!

We would like to say a very big “thank you” to everyone who came  to the Macmillan Coffee morning last Friday, familiar and new faces alike, especially to those who brought cakes!  Thanks to everyone who made a donation and/or bought clothes or jewelry; each of the stall holders gave a %age of their takings and this really boosted the total.

We are very pleased to tell you that we raised, including gift aid, just shy of £1200, with further donations pledged!!  This is a fantastic amount for a very worthy cause so thank you to all who came and helped make this happen.  We should also thank Starbucks, Henley, who provided the coffee, sugar, cups and stirrers which meant our outgoings were £0.

… it was also a really lovely day!

We plan to hold another coffee morning next year so if you missed out this time be sure to come along next year.
