Professional Couple Seeking Long-Term Accommodation

Henley & Surrounding Area 

Do you have a cottage, annexe, lodge or property that sits empty?

We are a professional, reliable couple looking ahead to early 2027, when we’re planning to sell our own property and explore a different kind of living arrangement in or around Henley-on-Thames and the surrounding area.

We’re ideally looking for somewhere we could make our home for a minimum of around 12 months, potentially longer, although we can be flexible for the right arrangement. Rather than simply renting, we’d love to find someone who might benefit from having a responsible couple living on their property or estate in exchange for agreed part-time help.

This could include things such as gardening and grounds, basic maintenance, pet or animal care, house sitting, looking after a property while owners are away, receiving deliveries or contractors, providing a security/presence, or simply keeping an eye on things. 

We both have our own professional employment, so we wouldn’t require a salary. We’re primarily looking for a mutually beneficial arrangement where accommodation is provided in exchange for our time and help, as long as the hours and responsibilities are fair and reasonable for both sides.

As we’re not looking to move until early 2027, we’d also really like to hear from anyone who knows that a suitable property or arrangement may become available next year. 

We’re planning ahead, so there’s absolutely no need for something to be available immediately.
